I have arrived at the right time - it has rained for the last 17 week-ends in a row and much of the week days as well. All days so far have been fine, cold (for a Queenslander!) and with elements of a biting wind. All good bracing stuff!! The first photo is the view from the suspension bridge looking up to Duck Reach. The flood water was up to just underneath the green sections last week.
My afternoon has been spent connecting some of my ideas. I am working on several short video clips that I want to project onto rock surfaces. Have also found a couple of spots that I want to use as installation spaces to photograph and film. One of these is just off the Zig Zag path - a 'hard', hiking path that works its way through the rocks on the opposite side of my cottage. Amazingly many people jog up and down it daily. The next photo shows one section that I was delighted to walk down, after struggling to walk up! There is also a photo of the view from my cottage, which gives you an idea of the physical terrain there as well.
